Brad Sceney

Brad Sceney is also originally from Australia. With an extensive resume both as a player and coach, Brad is looking forward to helping OZ Academy players by focusing on their individual needs and goals.

In 1992, Brad began his career as an Australian Open Junior Doubles Champion. He spent a few years playing on the Men’s pro circuit before heading to Pepperdine on an athletic scholarship. There he was an All-American doubles player and held the record in career singles wins.

He spent the next several years heading up various tennis clubs in California. This included being the head pro and later the director of tennis at The Pasco Club in Valencia, tournament director of the Men’s $50K Pro Challenger of Santa Carlita (ATP tour event). He spent the last several years as the head tennis coach at Loyola Marymount University before moving to Atlanta with his wife, Katy, and two young daughters.

Throughout his career, Brad has coached the all ages and abilities, from three year old to internationally ranked juniors to division 1 college players.
